Tips to Save Money. 3 good ones!

Approximately 45% of your monthly electrical bill goes to power your electric motors (production machinery, air-conditioning, compressors, etc).
-
 Always purchase "Premium Efficient" electric motors
They only cost slightly more, but they use a lot less electricity. A brand new 100hp motor will use about $580,000 in electricity over 10 years. A cheap motor will use a LOT more.
- Install Variable Speed Drives. VSD's will reduce your electrical usage.
- Please don't send your motors to a cheap repair shop
They will install cheap bearings; not balance the rotor; Loctite the bearings in the end-bells; etc. It means higher electrical bills. TigerTek guarantees no efficiency loss after repair.
Electricity is expensive. Please don't use more than you have to.

"I've heard about new Electric Motor legislation. What's going on?"
Beginning March 2015, manufacturers will be required to comply with the Department of Energy standards for small electric motors. This includes ΒΌ to 3 horsepower motors (single and 3 phase).
The current standard will result in approximately $35 billion in energy bill savings for products shipped from 2015-2044. The standard will avoid about 133.6 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to the annual greenhouse gas emissions of about 26.2 million automobiles.
Remember: To save $$$$$$, always buy Premium Efficient motors, and only choose an EASA accredited repair center to avoid ruining your good motors.
