TigerTek specializes in industrial repairs and sales. We repair electric motors (AC and DC), pumps, gearboxes, industrial electronics, servo motors, hydraulic equipment, blowers, etc. We also have a large machine shop for making parts.
 Our focus is to provide a convenient, single source, repair center for ALL plant repair needs. Our REPAIR division keeps it simple: When you need to get something repaired, you call us; we send a truck ( FREE pickup in our fleet area); we inspect the item and give you a FREE quote; if you approve the quote then we rapidly complete the repair and return it to you. Our NEW PRODUCTS division sells new motors, variable speed drives, line reactors and pump/motor savers. Our RELIABILITY SERVICES division provides laser alignment, vibration analysis, balancing and thermal imaging. | Large and Small Motor Repair |
 TigerTek is presently repairing this large AC motor (800hp @ 4160 volts), but we also repair thousands of small motors each year. Every motor is completely disassembled and all parts are cleaned. All wear surfaces are measured and repairs made as necessary. Bearings are replaced and the motor might need to be rewound. Motors are reassembled and dyno tested to ensure that they meet OEM specifications. Remember that TigerTek offers FREE evaluations before repairs as well as FREE pickup in our fleet area.  What is required for a good pump repair?Pump repairs have to be done right or you will lose performance (flow rate, pressure, head, etc) as well as reduce the life of the pump. This photo shows a local municipal waste water pump that we have just completed.
Our technicians completely disassembled the pump, cleaned all sections, measured all tolerances, inspected all shafts for wear and replaced shafts as necessary, (conveniently fabricated, in-house, in TigerTek's machine shop) sand blasted bowls and impellers, replaced bearings and packing and then rebuilt the entire pump assembly.

 Since 1986, Camp Carefree (located in Rockingham County) has provided a free camping experience for youngsters from North Carolina and neighboring states with specific health problems and disabilities.
The TigerTek team was delighted to cook hamburgers and hotdogs for 120 hungry campers.
