"Why does it take so long to rewind a motor?"

Rewinding a motor requires a number of sequential steps.

The primary procedures include:

Burn out the old winding in an oven
Reinsulate the stator laminations
Fabricate & insert the replacement copper coils
Dip the new windings
Cure the finish in a bake oven

For a typical 50hp motor, this process might take 2 to 3 days.

But, a professional rewind is key to maintaining motor performance and efficiency.
